ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Julie Kinscheck has been playing guitar/ writing and singing publically since age nine. She recently studied vocal coaching techniques with renouned instructors: Brett Manning and Chris & Carole Beatty and continues attend classes and workshops to remain the best equiped to teach her students.

She received classical voice training at Oberlin Conservatory, Ohio, then studied jazz and popular vocal and guitar styles at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Since graduating Cum Laude, Julie has performed professionally in numerous rock, jazz, wedding and country bands, including her own original band, releasing solo artist CD: Grace with Jazz On Top, 2008 and PTB, with which she recently released the Christian rock fro kids CD: The Force, 2006. Julie sang in, directed and arranged for various vocal groups including Faith In Action, the a cappella Gospel-Jazz Group with which she sang on TV with Jazz icon Bobby McFerrin and recently released the CD: Faith In Action Live, 2006.

She has also tought music in the public schools for 7 years to date (pre-school-middle school), and directs both childrens and adult church choir at her church.
